Welcome to Libertymere
Farm's website! The farm was established in 1996 by
Robert & Christine Padula.
It is located in the beautiful town of Exeter, in the southern countryside of
Rhode Island. The 25-acre Victorian estate is the picture perfect
setting to raise beautiful miniature horses. Bloodlines such as Bond Sir
Galahad, Rowdy, Bond Showboy and Egyptian King are represented in
both the mares and stallions of Libertymere. To date, the farms
20+ broodmares and 2 senior herd sires have together produced dozens of
AMHA Grand Champions,
Supremes, World Top Tens, World, Reserve World Champions as well as World Reserve and World Grand Champions.
The vision for the farm is to create a beautiful environment for
breeding high quality, internationally competitive miniature horses of
refinement, vigor, athleticism and confirmation. We feel this is best
accomplished in a specialized and highly selective program. Our
program focuses on the Bond bloodlines of Bond Sir Galahad, Bond
Bambi, and Bond Showboy. These bloodlines were selected discriminately,
after extensive research and travel. These are the foundation stock
that have constantly produced refined championship offspring of
great movement, for over 35 years.
The foals are the test of this vision. The very first cross between senior herd sire lines produced an AMHA World Champion Junior and Senior mare in Libertymere's Rouge au Lait (Roys Toy Snippets Red Corvette X Glory Be Farms Peaches & Cream, a Bond Galahads Legacy daughter). Libertymere was off to a flying start.
